Star Wars Lego Series

The founder of Legos, Ole Kirk Christiansen, began making toys for kids after his shop for woodworking was lost during the Great Depression. He fashioned wooden toys, such as yo-yos, for children for years. In 1947 saw the development of his first Automatic Binding Bricks. Nonetheless, these wooden bricks did not become the all-around building blocks we have come to love until 1953.
1966 saw the creation of the first Lego system; the Lego Train set, which included the materials needed to build a train with a working motor. This Lego train set has been so popular that it is still being revised and sold today. Over the years the Lego Company has created numerous other sets including towns, boats, cars, etc. What's more, many of these sets can be joined together to create the ultimate Lego set.
As the years went by and the imaginations of children expanded, the Lego Company has been expanding right along with them. You can purchase Lego sets today to build Egyptian pyramids, pirate ships, space ships and castles. Virtually anything your little one's imagination can dream, you can find a Lego set to make that dream a reality. They have expanded so much that you can even find Lego sets to build different types of sports items, comic book heroes or cartoon characters. Imagine the joy on your child's face when they build their very own Sponge Bob or Spider Man character!
However, the Legos Star Wars set is probably one of the most admired Lego themes available. Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Star Fighter, in which he defeats the Death Star, was the first Star Wars Lego set available around 1999. Since then, numerous other Lego sets have become available based upon the original three Star Wars movies, and most recently Lego sets are available that are derived from the prequels. Legos had also offered the Ultimate Collector's Series in a limited edition, which included pieces from both trilogies. For the die hard Star Wars fan, there are also three video games available that integrate all of the Star Wars tales.
Imagine the joy it would bring to your Star Wars fan when he receives the gift of a Lego X-Wing Star Fighter set. He'll be able to recapture the excitement of the conflict between the Evil Empire and the Rebel Alliance. This versatile set includes everything you need to modify the fighter to be that of Wedge Antilles' Red Three snub fighter or Luke Skywalker's Red Five. All of your favorite characters are included as well including; Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and R2-D2. This traditional Star Wars Lego set has everything you will need to overcome the Empire and be the ultimate hero!
